Leonard waits until Jim is fully asleep before pulling out his comms device.
"McCoy to Commander Spock, wanted to give you an update. Jim woke up, and everything seems to be fine. He fell back asleep, but he should be awake again and more alert within the next eight hours. He'll want to see you for an update in the ship. I'll uh....let you know when he wakes up again."
